Applied Kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is technique founded by Dr. George Goodheart. It enables us to manually test the integrity of our muscles. Each muscle can relate to a given organ/gland.

This technique also uses the Acupuncture Meridian System, Lymph System, Nervous System as well as allowing to test appropriate Nutritional Supplements. It is functionally orientated, NOT disease/pain oriented. As the body/mind functions closer to 100%, the natural healing occurs and we have gotten more towards the CAUSE then just getting rid of the symptoms. BIG DIFFERENCE!

For example: a patient could have the perctoralis sternal muscle (in the chest) shut off and test weak. This muscle relates to the liver. So, the muscle might turn back on by a chiropractic adjustment to the mid back (thoracic area) nerve supply. It may respond to Nutritional Supplement assisting the liver, for example Livaplex or Livotrit Plus. It might also turn back on by rubbing (stimulating) the Lymph Reflex to the liver or tapping an acupressure point on the liver meridian or dealing with the emotions of anger, resentment or frustration that are linked to the Liver Circuit or any combination of these.
